What should be worn?
The wedding is a black tie event, including the ceremony and reception. A black tie event is a formal evening occasion where guests are expected to dress in evening wear. For men, this typically means wearing a tuxedo, and for women, it usually involves a floor-length gown.
Gentlemen, if you elect to don a cowboy hat alongside your tuxedo, we respectfully request that it be a clean and properly cared-for felt hat, in keeping with the formality of the occasion.
